A unique and quaint 18th century Cape - architecturally authentic and thought to be one of the oldest houses in Old Town Lunenburg. Upgraded to modern facilities, its visible framework still features the post and beam construction and the original thick, hand-hewn, plank wainscotting. For those keen on history, portions of the inner Acadian construction walls remain exposed behind glass.
Just around the corner is the famous St. John's Anglican Church (the second oldest Anglican Church in North America) and the beautiful Lunenburg Academy, built in 1864. The renowned Fisheries Museum is a few blocks down the hill.
All amenities are within a short walk (groceries, shops, souvenirs, historic waterfront, dining, post office and galleries).
Old Town of Lunenburg is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Town - one of only two such towns in Canada.
